You can schedule a Live Broadcast for your pre-recorded content by first uploading the audio file. Head to your Audio Clips page to upload the audio file. The file/clip must be in .wma, .wav or .mp3 format and be under 100 MB.

  • Click the Add a New Clip button, then click Select File. This will open a box and prompt you to search and select a file saved on your computer.
  • Enter a short description (title) for your audio file
  • Click the Upload button.

Do not leave the page during this process. You must allow the progress indicator to complete 100%. Once the file has finished processing, it will be available on your studio for you to play during your live broadcast.

Now that you have prepared your pre-recorded show file, Head to the Create page and schedule the live broadcast. If you do not know how to schedule a live broadcast, click here to learn how.

While you’re scheduling the episode, you’ll see an Advanced Options section towards the bottom of the create form. Click to expand the options, then click the drop-down menu for the Startup Audio option, and then select the pre-recorded show file that you recently uploaded. Selecting the pre-recorded audio file here will ensure that the file will play automatically once the broadcast goes live.

Click the Create Episode button at the bottom of the form to complete the scheduling process.

IMPORTANT: When it’s time for your pre-recorded broadcast to go live, you must connect to your host line to activate the live stream. Once you’ve connected and the broadcast goes live, your show file will start to play automatically. It is not necessary for you to remain connected to the host line for the entire duration of the file, you are welcome to hang up from the host line. The show file will still play in it’s entirety.
